Attaching documents in CSTAR Case Notes or Consent sections

Windows 7 and Windows 10 have a feature that will mark a file as blocked when it comes to your computer through your email.
This can occur when receiving documents from another FJV staff person, some one outside the agency, fax to email or scanning a document from a printer.
One work around to solve this issue is to follow the steps listed below;
      1. Select the client you wish to work with.
      2. Select the Case Note Category you wish to work with.
      3. Select the Case Note you wish to work with.
      4. Click the Add Attachment button
        Browse to the file using the "Open" screen.  At this point you must browse using your mouse.  You cannot type the file name in the empty field.

      5. Once the file is located, highlight it as shown above.
        Next right click the file.

      6.  Choose "Properties" from the drop down menu.
      7.  The Properties window will appear.
      8.  In the lower left corner click the "Unblock" button.
      9. Next click OK.
      10. You will be back in the "Open" window.
        With your file still hilighted, click the "Open" button.

Your file will then be attached!
